Still sifting through the Void
Kat | The Perfectionist
-
The Life: Chef, restaurant owner/AYWA, and fiercely loyal multitasker.
-
The Power: Spirit
-
The Flaw: Aura Burnout. She sacrifices too much of her own Spirit energy for others, leading to a total exhaustion that leaves her physically and magically drained.
The Sovereign of Soul
"Kat doesn’t just cook; she commands. A former Michelin Five-Star chef who ruled the cutthroat kitchens of NYC, she walked away from the glitter of the city to own her own domain. Kat has always been attuned to the unseen—the 'spirit' that gives life to a room or a dish. She is a perfectionist who demands absolute excellence.
But for a woman who embodies the very element of Spirit, the Mate Bond feels like a cruel joke. To Kat, being tethered to a Vampire—a creature she views as a soulless void—is an insult to her powers. She resists the connection with a cold, piercing Judgement, refusing to believe that the essence of life could ever belong to the undead. In Kat’s world, everything has a place and a purpose, and she will fight to her last breath before she lets a 'soulless' creature consume her light."
